lately

This was at the Comic Convention at the Jacob Javits center on the west side of Manhattan. It was surreal in there. I saw every character from Star Wars. There were stormtroopers at the doors of the convention with their "guns". It was hilarious. I didn't see Yoda come to think of it?! Hay. Maybe he's sick. Everyones getting it. Poor Yoda. I also saw 2 of the strangest "troll" like people kinda sliding on the floor. Hmmm. I wonder how they got in there. Did they change in the bathroom? To top it off there was a "I want to be a superhero" competition going on right down the hall from where we were doing photos/interviews. This was by far the most unorthodox collection of individuals I have ever witnessed in one place. One guy created a suit that had flashing, pulsing tubes in it. Amazing. I cant even describe it. I thinks its a tv show.

26 Days Till Spring!!! (as of Feb. 23rd)

So i decided to pull out some shots I had composed to really get the mood going for our next season. Did you know that:
The Sun is at its lowest path in the sky on the Winter Solstice. After that day the Sun follows a higher and higher path through the sky each day until it is in the sky for exactly 12 hours. On the Spring Equinox the Sun rises exactly in the east travels through the sky for 12 hours and sets exactly in the west. On the Equinox this is the motion of the Sun through the sky for everyone on earth. Every place on earth experiences a 12 hours day twice a year on the Spring and Fall Equinox. After the Spring Equinox, the Sun still continues to follow a higher and higher path through the sky, with the days growing longer and longer, until it reaches it highest point in the sky on the Summer Solstice.

Do you want to see the whole thing?? Its good....
Viscera Eyes is the first single from the album Amputechture by The Mars Volta. "Viscera Eyes" evolved from a song originally written for the band At the Drive-In. The full song (as found on the album) is 9 minutes and 23 seconds long. Pictures from a music video recording session surfaced in early September, with Blake on Drums and John Frusciante on guitar, but no further information on the release of a video has surfaced. Thats why I created one. Here you will see a snippet. I have been taking this song apart because it so deserves inspection. Its an amazing song, clever with deep meaning and long beautiful guitar and horn sections. Its complex like a novel and deserves attention.

Chinatown with all of this

Shooting in Chinatown, amongst fashion week, was an interesting side project. I never felt so foreign in NYC than when I finally ventured into Chinatown for the first time with an assignment. My language, English, was third on the list of concerns. LISTEN-WE SHOULD ALL LEARN SOME LEVEL OF CHINESE. How else can we ask for our jobs back in the correct and proper language?
My Assistant
Patricia Field's and Company
Everyone Loves Patricia Fields. You would to if you were in her store, saw Sex in the City, Meet her, saw The Devil Wears Prada, of felt any thing towards unconventional fashion and stying.

Patricia Field is a well known fashion designer from the United States. Born in New York, to Greek and Armenian parents, after they immigrated there from the island of Lesbos in Greece and Istanbul respectively.[1]. Fashion Week 2007
Fashion week Spring 2007. What can you say? Wonderful as ever, and with an ever flowing amount of energy and hopeful creativity. I love to see all of these people work towards success and appreciation. Its fun to watch a wide range of talent, young, old, older see one another's possibility's. I hope to see more and more creative and different ideas coming from what is already established and what could be.
