Fun from My Glorious Past!

This week has been filled with many interesting topics, feelings, emotions and charm. 2 events that have been exciting have been the reminiscence of a part of my young life that was so very important to me. The first ever concert I saw as a teenager was Kiss. The opening act for Kiss was a band called Queensryche. So in all honesty this was the very first professional music group I ever saw. Last night, Sept. 21, I saw them again. The show didn't have the same impact as it did so many years ago, but it was still very exciting. Here are a few shots from the show.

Now for the second part of the story. Did you know that the Hard Rock Cafe is 35 years old? And that it originated in London? I shot the birthday party for the clubs birthday and Motley Crue performed. This was probably my favorite band as a kid. Especially Shout At The Devil. So raunchy and decadent and violent. Filled with everything a young boy wants to hear. This week has been fulfilling in a very roundabout kind of way. It was so much fun. Its good to have these weeks. Don't you agree???

I drove a BOAT on Labor Day

It was so much Fun. Captain Tom Blair let me commander his boat for about 30 minutes. It was very fun. This boat was like the Ferrari of Boats. Tom showed me the engines, both of them. 2 eight cylinder monster Mercuries. It had some serious pickup as we cruised through The Long Island Sound. Very pretty and very exhilarating.
Here is Tom surveying his beautiful boat from the Bow (the front of a boat, the Stern being the back)

And here is me walking from the Bow into the captains seat to really have a good time!

Don Kings 8th Wonder of the World Media Tour

Don King was promoting this Boxer named Nikolai "Russian Giant" Valuev all around Manhattan recently. Don King is trying to get him to box in America. I don't even know who could possibly go up against this man. He seems to be 7 and a half feet tall. Here is a picture of Don King, Nikolai, Nikolais manager and Donald Trump in Donald Trumps office.

Don King was on a tour that day that lead he and the boxer from Mr.Trumps office:

To The United Nations (which I couldn't get into because of clearance), to the top of The Empire State Building:
(Where these gentleman proceeded to build a replica of the Empire State Building for the Boxer to manhandle)

as curious tourists looked on:

Don King and his "circus" arrived and the media event continued:

It was an interesting day again! I love my job. It keeps things so full of variety in my life.
