Ok this is the full arm of some famous bare knuckle Irish boxer from the 1800's. Apparently back in those days, grave robbing was big. Not just for personal possessions, Rings, jewelry etc, but also the cadaver itself to be sold to hospitals for studies. So these 2 Irish guys bring in the remains of this particular guy who the doctor recognized and immediately got in touch with his family. They somehow decided to dip the arm in some sort of red lead to preserve it forever. Here is a picture of said arm.
