Grosser than gross

Ok this is the full arm of some famous bare knuckle Irish boxer from the 1800's. Apparently back in those days, grave robbing was big. Not just for personal possessions, Rings, jewelry etc, but also the cadaver itself to be sold to hospitals for studies. So these 2 Irish guys bring in the remains of this particular guy who the doctor recognized and immediately got in touch with his family. They somehow decided to dip the arm in some sort of red lead to preserve it forever. Here is a picture of said arm. I shot this for New York Magazine-a story on the Irish Museums exhibition of bare knuckle boxing.

Have an Iced Coffee on ME!

I shot these for New York Magazine about a month ago. I sure could go for one now. Yummy. I was actually shooting another story for Time Out magazine and was with Kristina Dechter who is the market editor. We stopped by the one place that sells the iced coffee in the first shot in the little frozen "cup". As we were enjoying a complimentary coffee we noticed a woman reading the article in New York Magazine next to us. I asked her about it, she said she saw the picture and wanted to come and try one. How funny and random is that?? I got it on video. I wonder if you can put video on this blog........
